I was born in Buenos Aires, in 1971. I studied drawing and painting in National School of Fine Arts “Prilidiano Pueyrredón” and I graduated in 1993.
From 1991 to 1996 I’ve been a professor in my workshop of plastic experimentation oriented to children and teenagers.
From 1992 to 1995 I was part of the collective “The exhibition that goes” (“La muestra que va) (1), performing events in which we experimented with live music, art exhibitions and performances in the street or in the basement of one of the member’s house (2).
During 1996/97 I assisted to the art workshop of Fabiana Barreda, of which emerged other group projects (3). At that time I also did a painting seminar that was coordinated by Pablo Suárez, Ahuva Szlimowicz and Tulio de Sagastizabal in the Fine Arts School of the Cárcova.
Between 1999 and 2001 I lived in Amsterdam, experience that brought me closer to artists from different places of the world.
At my return in 2001, Marcos XCella and I organized “Non-functional option” (Opción Antifuncional), a installation related with design in which we took over an empty commercial property situated in Larreta Galleries (Galerías Larreta), headquarters of Designers of the Low Area (Diseñadores del Bajo). From that exhibition onwards, I kept on working on the crossings between art, design, handicraft and product in a project I called “Incomfort”.
During 2005 I did the art workshop of Jorge Gumier Maier.
In 2003 I had the chance to exhibit my work with the artist from São Paulo Leda Catunda, a friend that opened many doors for me in Brazil.
In 2004 I received funds for creation from the National Fund for the Arts (Buenos Aires) and from the Antorchas Foundation. That same year I did my first individual exhibition in the Modern Art Museum of Buenos Aires.
In 2005 I participated in the program Intercampos 1 (Hackim/Northoon/Bruzzone).
In 2006 I did my first individual exhibition en Virgilio gallery, São Paulo, Brazil.

Incomfort Empire [Imperio Incomfort] (2008)
This installation -made of hanging units suspended closely to the wall- was originated as a result of using intuitively the Illustrator program. I achieved a digital sketch by recycling images of my own work and by taking out of context fragments of designs, ornaments and famous works of art. I then materialized the sketch (as a reformat process) with textiles materials, evoking a TV or cinema (fantastic or retro futurist cinema) set.
The images show the installation assembled in the Caraffa Museum of the city of Córdoba, in the Reggio Award 100 Years of Visual Arts.
